Butch, a pretty-boy production assistant, and Jesse, a British expat and aspiring filmmaker, arrive at a remote house in the California desert after a crime gone horribly wrong. As they try to figure out their next move, Butch and Jesse confront failed Hollywood dreams, their rocky past, and Butch's mysterious, otherworldly visions, forcing a reckoning between nihilism and acceptance.
