Ray is at her wits end after her gambler husband takes off with the down payment on their new trailer. To make a few bucks she reluctantly teams up with Lila, who smuggles illegal Chinese and Pakistani across the US/Canadian border. It's a chance to make some easy money, but she doesn't realise how much danger she's put herself and her family in.
