Anna-Lisa, owner of a lodge on a beautiful island, summons her adult children from the mainland. But despite the idyllic setting, the homecoming causes old secrets to resurface.

When Anna-Lisa's will is read, the siblings learn that they must live and work together, running the B&B for a summer season, in order to inherit anything, but Jonna has no intention of cooperating.

Lasse learns that his restaurant has burned down. Once Jonna comes to terms with staying, the siblings agree to run the lodge together, but tensions soon arise with a dark secret lurking.

Lasse's financial problems worsen, and his shady investor comes looking for him at the lodge. Oskar confesses his sins to the local priest.

The lodge prepares to host a large wedding. Jonna gets an unexpected visit. Oskar reveals the truth about his part in the break-up of Lasse and Liv's teenage romance years before.

Lasse and Liv find it hard to keep their hands off each other. Oskar's secret is in danger of resurfacing when divers search for a shipwreck.

Oskar waits for news on the identity of the dead body recovered from the sea. Jonna triumphs in the lead role of the local theater production.

Jonna has a dark secret and uses it to bargain with her neighbor Mildred, convincing her not to sell her land. Meanwhile, Oskar catches Liv in a lie.

Oskar's paranoia goes into overdrive as the blackmail continues. Lasse and Liv can no longer resist each other and finally rekindle their love.

Lasse is in the clear with the police, but not off the hook. The siblings are days away from getting their inheritance, but tensions run high and a fight ensues.
