90 Day Journey: Chantel & Pedro

Chantel is ecstatic that her fiance Pedro is finally coming to America, but she's keeping a big secret. Then, Pedro meets Chantel's family for the first time and struggles with the language barrier while working to make a good first impression.

Pedro sees a new side of Chantel during a Florida trip, and the couple reveals their secret to a friend. Later, Chantel shops for a wedding dress and gets upset that her mom isn't there for the moment, and Pedro tries to make inroads with Chantel's dad.

With days left on his visa, Chantel and Pedro finally come clean to her family, and Chantel asks for her brother's forgiveness. Karen and Thomas issue an ultimatum that puts both families at odds and causes the couple to question each other's motives.

Chantel and Pedro settle into married life, but Pedro doesn't feel comfortable around her family because of their distrust. Chantel proposes having a second wedding in the Dominican Republic so they can get to know Pedro better.

As they prepare to leave for the Dominican Republic, Chantel is put off when Pedro explains it's part of his culture to bring numerous expensive gifts for his mom and sister. Later, the families clash when Pedro's mom invites Chantel's family to dinner.

Chantel and Pedro's trip to the Dominican Republic for their second wedding continues. After a huge fight, Chantel's family refuses to get out of the van at Pedro's grandmother's house after she prepared for their arrival.

Pedro is still sending most of his earnings to his family and it's putting a financial strain on his marriage. Chantel rarely sees her family after the Dominican Republic trip, but she meets River for lunch and he invites her and Pedro on a family trip.

Chantel's family confronts her about their suspicions surrounding Pedro's family. Karen believes Chantel was set up with Pedro and threatens to hire a private investigator. Then, Pedro invites his sister to come visit him in Atlanta.

Pedro's sister, Nicole, arrives in Atlanta and after she scoffs at the idea of sleeping on the couch, Pedro and Chantel fight. Later, Chantel and Nicole argue during a family dinner, and things fall into chaos when River and Pedro throw punches.

Pedro storms out after his sister, and Chantel and her family are in shock. When Chantel finally returns home, they argue in circles and talk about divorce. Later, they hunt for a home in Savannah, GA, because Pedro wants to get away from her family.

Karen invites Pedro to Thanksgiving dinner and he tells Chantel he has no interest in going. Then, he heads to the Dominican Republic to be with his family, and Chantel worries whether her marriage can survive the trip.

Pedro arrives in the Dominican Republic and discusses his strained marriage with his family. Chantel's friend encourages her to fly to the Dominican and settle things with Pedro, and Pedro takes things too far while dancing with his sister's friend.

In the Dominican Republic, Chantel learns a shocking allegation about Pedro. Later, Chantel gets into another argument with Pedro's sister, Nicole, who pulls out her phone and shows Chantel a video of Pedro dirty dancing with her friend.

Pedro apologizes to Chantel and they agree to take a trip to work on their issues. Later, Pedro tells his family he's going back to Atlanta with his wife, and Chantel asks Pedro for the truth about the accusations she heard from her friend, Obed.

Chantel and Pedro are quarantined in Atlanta and spend time studying and playing video games. Pedro's sister, Nicole, is stuck in New York and during a call with Pedro, he blames her for leaving their mother alone in the Dominican Republic.
