While Shorty Rossi is away on a book tour, Ashley puts Ronald and Sebastian in their place and refuses to let them go on an alleged dog hoarding rescue. Meanwhile, a photo shoot with a python goes very wrong.

Shorty Rossi decides the time has come to open his own kennels, but his staff revolts and Ashley threatens to walk. A gig at a Los Angeles nightclub almost ends badly when Mikey gets manhandled by one of the guests.

Shorty Rossi suffers a nasty accident trying to rescue a dog loose on a busy motocross track. Meanwhile, Ashley is overwhelmed with the increased workload and accidentally sends Ronald and Sebastian on a gig that involves nudity.

Shorty Rossi breaks into a house to save a trapped pit bull. Ashley dumps her kennel duties to produce a commercial for Shortywood, but things don't go according to the script.

Shortywood and Shorty's Rescue Kennels are understaffed, and when Sebastian goes to Florida to see his newborn nephew, it gets worse. A gig at a minor league baseball game causes a blowup between Ashley and Shorty.

Shorty Rossi volunteers Ronald and Sebastian's services for a benefit, and their worst nightmare comes true: a rescue in wigs and dresses. Ashley's frustrations with Shortywood reach a breaking point.

Shorty Rossi is blindsided when Ashley gives her notice, and he struggles to find a replacement. Time is not on Shorty's side when he tries to find a dog in a locked storage facility.

Shorty Rossi and his staff are forced to spend the night at a campground when they can't rescue a dog before the sun goes down. Shorty plans a star-studded talent show to raise money and get his pit bulls adopted.

Ashley is off and running at her new job as a talent agent, but things at Shortywood aren't going well. An abused dog is trapped on a fire escape, but Shorty Rossi is out of town, so Ron and Sebastian have to step up.

Shorty Rossi rescues an abused puppy, but his kennels are full and he needs to find more good homes. Ashley's new agency steals Lil Diva, and Ron and Sebastian scramble to find a replacement for a music video gig.

Shorty Rossi takes on Ashley's new boss in a face-to-face blowup that doesn't end well. Ashley is overcome with guilt when she realizes what is happening back at Shortywood and Shorty's Rescue.

Shorty Rossi is invited to Miami to help fight against breed-specific legislation, but organizers want him to bring Ashley, Ronald and Sebastian. Ashley quits her new job, but not before major damage is done to Shortywood.
