Two friends, Francois, a charmer, and Denis, a hypochondriac, arrive from Greece in Paris. Penniless, they spend their nights in the subway, and squat in houses with immigrants, until the day they meet Mathilde, a dancer. As they both fall in love with her, they decide to follow her all way to New York.
