Legendary Motorcars

For seven years, Peter has striven to buy a very original Ferrari 275 GTB 4cam from a guy in Illinois. Having faced nothing but frustration thus far, Peter is ecstatic when a phone call arrives inviting him down to the owner's place.

Peter receives a call about an original Thunderbolt drag car in the showroom. The caller claims that he is too busy to visit and asks if Pete would be willing to haul the car down to a drag strip for an upcoming weekend of racing.

A client of Peter's wants his Mustang turned into an identical version of Steve McQueen's famous car from the film Bullitt. Is recreating an iconic Hollywood vehicle any more or less challenging than a standard restoration?

Peter hears about an old timer just outside of town that has quite a collection of rusting hulks in his yard. One is rumoured to be a Boss 429. Pete and Gary travel to see if the car is a genuine find, and if the man is willing to sell it.

If someone wanted to build a car to outpace a Ferrari Enzo on the racetrack, what car would best serve that purpose? What about a 1970 Cuda? The guys set to work on a custom-built, 1500-horsepower, full-caged Cuda. The race is on.

While working on another television project, Peter receives a call from a guy who is angry that Peter's footwear does not adequately reflect the level of respect that some of the world's finest cars demand. Really, is this guy serious?

Pete and Gary head to Phoenix hunting for cars. After a couple of misses, they locate an owner of a very rare, completely original, GT40 street car. Peter feels the car is ready to explode, but the owner knows exactly what he has.

As the process of restoring a 1968 Shelby unfolds, the guys begin to believe they may be working on something special. The owners are then brought in, and the detective work begins. Could this be one of the mythical Shelby prototypes?

An old contact calls Pete to connect him with someone looking to sell a couple cars. One is a 1965 Chevelle that Pete is interested in. As the deal is close to completion, the seller asks Pete if he would be willing to enhance the deal.

When a collector decides to call Legendary Motorcar to sell a Healy, Peter is underwhelmed. But when he goes to look at the car he is surprised by the owner and her collection. The blond hair, the tattoos, and... the genuine Egyptian mummy.

While Gary is working the front desk at Legendary Motorcar one Saturday, he receives a call about a 1940 Dodge pickup. Could leaving money on the table with this buyer lead to a bigger deal on a Ford GT?

As springtime finally arrives, Pete gets a surprise visit from his brother. The weather is nice, and Dave Klutt has the itch to buy a sports car. When Dave cannot decide between a ZR1 Corvette and an ACR Viper, they head to the racetrack.

When a rookie car guy contacts Pete about buying his first classic car it quickly becomes clear that the guy lacks the finer points concerning the car market. When a mutual friend offers to assist, Peter can follow up on a Superbird.

As Gary becomes a bigger part of Legendary Motorcar and its race team, Pete insists he work in the fabrication shop to increase his knowledge base to back him up on the racetrack. Also, Peter drives a 1915 Mitchell and a GTX resto mod.
