After a tragic childhood, Kakeru and his friend Yuka are both mysteriously cast into an alternate world, chased by creatures intent on killing them.

Back in the Red Night dimension, Kakeru and Yuka meet a young woman named Misuzu ... before they discover a girl trapped within a strange crystal.

Planning for the next time they are taken to the Red Night, and hoping to protect Yuka, Kakeru asks Misuzu to teach him some sword skills...

Kakeru and Yuka find themselves once more in the Red Night. But when they're attacked by the Black Knights, can Kakeru awaken his power in time?

Kakeru and Yuka meet a mute called Kukuri, who bears a striking resemblance to Kakeru's dead sister ... and the Red Night falls once again!

Red Night has fallen and Yuka is on the run ... alone. Meanwhile Lissette awakens and tries to test the limits of the crystal barrier.

Yuka awakens to find Kakeru safely beside her. Later, Misuzu discovers cracks in the oni barrier. Little do they know, they are all being watched...

Shiori tells Kakeru that only he can stop the demon, but things get weird when Tajima battles a Superbia clone, while Misuzu fights the real Superbia.

Kakeru and Misuzu learn from Shiori that if all the fragments of the Void Stone are collected, Liselotte will be freed ... and will destroy the world.

Liselotte has awakened, and Yuka's fragment of the void stone puts her in mortal danger. Misuzu and Kakeru do a "ritual" to power up his abilities...
