A Fine Romance

Mike gets jealous after Laura accepts a job at a weekend conference. She decides to bring him along on the condition that they pretend to be married. Trouble ensues when Mike meets other would-be spouses.

Mike is put on the spot when Laura's parents come to meet him and to celebrate Helen's good news. True to form, Mike makes an "unusual" first impression.

Laura's plans for a small dinner party get interrupted when Charlie, Mike's assistant, takes ill and calls on Mike and Laura for help. They frantically prepare dinner between visits to the hospital.

While Charlie convalesces, Mike struggles to run the business single-handedly but refuses to replace Charlie with someone younger. While lending moral support to her pregnant sister, Laura finds herself thinking about having a family, too.

Mike struggles at work with deciding how young is "too young" and how old is "too old." Laura drops the baby bomb.

Laura and Mike are seriously at odds because they disagree about starting a family. After an all-out, soggy confrontation, Laura makes a bold decision.
