Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji must leave the Cloud Recesses to discover the true nature of the Demonic Left Arm as its dark power continues to grow. They set off on a journey to find the other demonic limbs and are joined by Jin Ling, a boy with his own demons to face. Wei begins recalling more of his past life and begins to uncover some dark secrets surrounding the events of Nevernight.
