You Can't Do that on Television

Tired of working and going to school, the kids imagine what it would be like if work and school didn't require any work at all. While being held captive, a boy discovers a sneaky, clever way to pull a fast one on his captor and make his escape.

The kids explore the most efficient form of transportation to get around. Transportation situations get the boy out of captivity. Ross's antics get Christine into unfortunate situations. The kids encounter the world in opposite, upside down mode.

The kids get a lesson in responsibility concerning chores, allowance & budgeting. Christine goes on strike because she feels she isn't being paid enough.The captive boy sneakily convinces the guard he doesn't have enough money to pay for his execution.

The kids explore different scenarios of dating & relationships. Christine anxiously anticipates a call from her crush all day. The captive boy uses a date with his girlfriend as an excuse to get away. During the opposite sketches, the kids get their way.

The kids exercise on a stationary bike and use the TV station's special effects to create change of scenery. While trying to stay healthy and exercise, the kids' efforts are halted by the adults. The boy escapes by going jogging with the firing squad.

The kids demonstrate the importance of safety by performing unsafe acts and displaying the results. They learn to wear white at night, how to lift heavy objects, water safety & more. The kids get slimed when they can't answer safety questions correctly.

While examining equal rights, the cast realizes Christine gets special privileges, so they each give hosting a shot. The execution is stopped when the prisoner argues the equal rights law. Lisa is upset that the others think she talks too much.
