    Now, we leave Scotland after hearing so many stories of how Scotch truly is a global drink. Firstly, we hear of the rise in whisky-collecting, and how a rebirth in single malts resulted in the saviour of the industry. It was then, too, that young consumers abroad began to drink blended Scotch whiskies on a huge scale. In doing so, they inspired their own countries to compete with Scotland.
