The bigger engines tease Edward for being old and unreliable, especially Gordon. But when Gordon gets stuck, he has to call on Edward to come and give him a push.

When Diesel runs out of fuel, Paxton takes him by surprise by offering him help. Paxton gives him a push to the fuel tank, and a taste of what friendship might be like.

Signals Crossed: CGI animation. Toby is always nervous when he has to go through Knapford Junction, will he be able to overcome his fear?

Toad longs to have an adventure. So when the chance comes to work with James, he takes it. But a coupling snaps and Toad gets a much bigger adventure than he bargained for!

When Duck gets stuck, James is sent to fetch Rocky to rescue him. But James does not wait for Rocky to secure his crane arm and they end up knocking down a signal!

After the Fat Controller is concerned about getting passengers to their destinations, Duck tells the other engines about the slip coaches they used on the Great Western Railway.

Duncan the Humbug: CGI animation. Who is taking the Steamies' Christmas decorations from the Tidmouth sheds?

Animation. Duncan, the grumpiest engine on the narrow gauge railway, gets a taste of his own medicine when he receives a very grumpy passenger.

Last Train for Christmas: CGI animation. When the Fat Controller decides to ride in a real sleigh at the Ulfstead Castle Christmas fair, Thomas ends up looking like a reindeer.

The Perfect Gift: CGI animation. Emily is sent out to clear the tracks when Thomas hides his snow plough.

Animation. Marion uncovers what she thinks is the mast of a Viking ship while doing some repairs, while Thomas suspects that she may have hit a water pipe.

Animation. Percy rushes around trying to take his mind off of how much he misses his friend, Gator, and loses control of some trucks which roll into an old mine.

CGI animation following the adventures of the engine and his friends. Bill and Ben run out of coal during a shortage at Clay Pits and have to rely on Timothy to help them out.

Animation. Spencer brings a VIP back from the mainland, but arrives so late that the passenger refuses to travel back with him. The other engines compete to be chosen.

Long Lost Friend: CGI animation. It is so cold that the turntable is frozen and only one berth is accessible. Thomas insists on saving it for Percy, but Gordon wants it for himself.

Animation. Toad the brake van helps Gator when he insists on driving through the night even though his lamp keeps failing.
