Sofiane, a young student in Lyon, is facing an existential crisis. After his visa was revoked, the son of a former Algerian embassy employee lives in constant fear of deportation. In search of a way to secure his residency permit, he takes a job at a Muslim funeral home. Amid parties, encounters and daily work, a transformative journey begins for him.
