Chef!

The Kitchen staff at Le Chateau are overwhelmed, and Gareth simply must find another chef as soon as possible. Gustave Laroche, a one time culinary legend, is available, but why is he working at a third rate dive?

Gareth is in for the shock of his life when Janice tells him there may soon be the pitter patter of little feet around Le Chateau. Can he adjust to fatherhood when he has the consuming task of creating perfect food at the restaurant?

In search of the best raw materials for food preparation, Gareth and Everton go in search of a dodgy old man recognized for his renowned partridge. But Gareth has more problems than finding the best food to work with when he realizes the law might be after him. Will Gareth land in the soup?

Publicity-shy Gareth is pressured by Janice to appear on a talk show, but she soon wishes she had never bothered. When Gareth bad mouths Janice's cooking to the television audience, he might have to rethink going home to Janice to apologize for what he has said.

Everton has created his own signature dish, which irritates Gareth. Everton achieves notoriety of his own and provokes Gareth's anger even more. Perhaps Everton should consider leaving to avoid his boss's wrath.

All the staff seem to have brought their troubles to work, leaving Gareth in a stew of emotions. With the restaurant fully booked for lunch and dinner, he reluctantly plays social worker in order to get them all back on the job.

Gareth represents Britain when he is invited to an international culinary exhibition. He, Everton and the wait staff travel to Lyon where Gareth will settle for nothing short of being named the number one chef.
