Being a single mother isn't easy, more so, if one is a prostitute. This movie depicts the struggles of Basanti, a prostitute who is caught between her love for Chandan, the village postman, and the sadistic desires of the village priest, Bhuvan Panda. Will she manage to escape the clutches of the depraved priest, and build a new life for herself, with Chandan and her daughter?
