Extreme Fishing

Robson is on a mission to discover the weird, the wonderful and the way-off-limits of the fishing world. From the Azores to South Africa, from the swamps of Louisiana to the jungle of Costa Rica, he'll be going on boats, in canoes, up river and underwater, chasing some of the most elusive and terrifying fish on the planet.

For the second leg of his adventure, he's off to the Deep South of America, home of bourbon, cotton and the blues. It's also where huntin', shootin' and fishin' is a way of life. His first fishing mission is on the Tennessee River, where they don't even bother with rods, they catch their prey with their hands. It's called Catfish Grabblin.

This week Robson visits the Southern Hemsiphere, he's in South Africa on the trail of the incredible phenomenon that is the Sardine Run - where millions of sardine rush past the coast of Africa, bringing with them all the great ocean predators. But this includes Robson's nemesis - the shark, so when he finds himself in shark infested waters while paddle ski-ing, understandably nervous.

His first mission is to catch the most highly prized game fish in the world - the Blue Marlin. As he sets out into the Atlantic trailing lures, the weather deteriorates; will Robson run out of time and luck to land this giant ocean predator? Moving on to the Canary Islands, Robson tries eating a fish a poisonous fish from way down deep.
