Fake Marriage

For the first time in 25 years, Choji, Hiro's ex, admits that he is gay. Choji asks Hiro to marry him anyway, just to comfort his dying mother.

Hiro's apartment floor gave out, forcing her to seek refuge at Choji's house until she can find a new place to live. In the meantime, Choji's mother, Kanae, pays him a visit.

Even taking wedding photos fails to convince Kanae to leave. Kanae then suggests a wedding reception and offers to go to the marriage registration with them.

After the wedding reception, Kanae confides in Hiro and asks her to keep a secret from Choji. Complicating Hiro's life more, Hiro's cousin expresses her concern for her brother to Hiro while Choji develops feelings for Tamotsu.

While Hiro begins to realize she has feelings for Choji, he confesses his feelings to Tamotsu and regrets it. Meanwhile, Choji sees Shiori openly telling everyone that she is a lesbian.

After failing to express her feelings to Choji, Hiro tries to distance herself from him. However, when Shiori's daughter is taken by her ex-mother-in-law, Choji turns to Hiro for help.

A post is shared on the website of the kindergarten where Choji works, revealing that he is gay. Harassment from someone who wants to expose Choji's secret ensues.

Choji is left with the divorce papers as Hiro expresses her feelings for him before leaving. Later, unable to forget about Choji, Hiro visits her parents' grave, where Tenjin is waiting for her.

A year after their divorce, Choji and Hiro meet again at the promised place. Hiro tells of the events that led to her meeting her partner while Choji reveals that he met someone important on a trip.

During their visit to Choji's mother, Choji expresses his desire to get back together with Hiro. In response, Hiro suggests to Shiori that they get married in order to contain her feelings towards Choji.
