Kitten Rescuers

In our first episode, we witness our one of our largest and most dramatic rescues yet. Over 20 firefighters, race against the clock to save the life of little kitten Ezri, who has been stuck down a storm drain for over 10 hours, after falling into a river.

This week, Animal welfare officer Matt Brown receives a call about a family of kittens that have been reported hiding in the loft space above a shop. However when he tries to rescue the kittens from their dark and dusty den, things don't quite go to plan, leaving one little kitten in a sticky situation.

In Birmingham, Inspector Herchy Boal investigates a complaint about a neglected cat with a broken leg. Unsure on how long the cat has been injured for, she must race against the clock to get it seen by a vet, if there is any chance of saving his poorly paw.

In Essex, it's a high risk rescue for Animal Collection Officer Joe White, when a kitten is spotted on a motorway hard shoulder. With cars roaring past only meters away from the unlucky moggie, Joe has to work fast to get the frightened feline to safety. But, in true cat fashion, she doesn't make it an easy job for Joe.

In this week's episode, Jo gets stuck in at Harmsworth Animal Hospital, when she meets tiny kitten Lucky, who almost didn't make it, when she was so anaemic from fleas quite literally sucking the life out of her. Jo assists Vet Sam Fevy who is taking a blood count sample to see if this little kitty will be well enough to go up for rehoming.

In this week's episode, Jo's at Harmsworth, one of the country's busiest animal hospitals. She pulls on a nurse's apron and helps out in two life changing operations on two very cute cat patients.
