Two teenagers from very different backgrounds find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.

Tandy and Tyrone try to grasp what has happened to them with their newfound powers, while Tandy's past catches up with her and Tyrone becomes consumed with revenge.
