Meet The Drug Lords: Inside The Real Narcos

The Sinaloan Cartel is the most powerful and dangerous drug gang of them all, and Jason got extraordinary access to this multi-billion dollar criminal network, entering a world where his life was literally in the hands of the cartel.

Jason travels to Buenaventura, a port area where it is estimated that a quarter of all the cocaine consumed in the world is smuggled. Jason meets a trafficker preparing to paddle cocaine worth a staggering 10 million euros in his canoe under cover of night to a waiting container ship that will smuggle it to Europe, under the noses of the authorities.

Jason goes deep into the jungle under cover of darkness to meet one of the valley's most renowned cocaine chefs and see him working through the night to make pure cocaine in his hidden, pop up lab. But as morning breaks the chef spots police informants and Jason has to make a swift exit, hidden in the back of a pick-up truck.
