This series follows the Covert Investigations Unit (CIU), an elite undercover police unit that infiltrates criminal worlds. In tense confidence games called "plays," cops flirt with killers, befriend gangbangers and arrange gun shipments - all to collect evidence and coax confessions. If these cops aren't convincing or they miss a single cue, their lives could be over in an instant.
