In the second-hour of the two-night series premiere, the Bordelon siblings must work through their very different ideas about how to plan their father’s funeral, and Charley is approached with an offer to buy her father’s farm.

The Bordelon family gathers for the reading of their father’s will, and they discover new information about his wishes for the 800-acre farm. The three siblings then receive an undesirably low offer for the land, and they must decide their next step.

Ralph Angel struggles to run the family farm amid setbacks, Charley resumes managing her husband’s troubled career and legal issues despite their strained relationship, and Nova seeks justice for a friend’s son who she thinks is wrongfully imprisoned.

Nova’s pursuit of justice causes issues in her romantic relationship with local cop Calvin, Charley confronts her husband’s accuser, and Ralph Angel faces a moral quandary. Plus, Hollywood resumes contact with someone from his past.

Nova and Charley clash over Nova’s public comments about Charley’s marriage, Ralph Angel struggles to exit an illegal arrangement, and Charley learns what Davis really did during the night in question.
