The Very Small Creatures

The Very Small Creatures take it in turns to 'spring' off the end of a ruler. But Blue is feeling nervous about this. Can Blue’s friends encourage them to be brave enough to make the leap?

The Very Small Creatures are playing a game of Hide & Seek. As Pink counts to ten the others rush to find the perfect hiding place. Who will stay hidden the longest and win the game?

The Very Small Creatures are playing a game of Sleeping Bunnies but their soft blanket is so cosy it actually sends them all to sleep! Well, with the exception of Pink, who finds lots of fun games to play on their own! When the others wake up, will they join in the fun too?

The Very Small Creatures discover a Seesaw. One by one, they try it out and discover how their own weight and movement can make whoever is at the other end fly! But, when they are all on the seesaw at once, they have to work out how everyone can enjoy it …without anyone falling off!

The Very Small Creatures discover a torch. They explore making shadows with themselves and items in the playroom, but when Yellow brings something big close to the light, they get more than they bargained for.

While playing football with their friends, Green spots an extra special looking ball but doesn’t share the new toy with the others. As Green finds more inventive ways to play with the ball, they quickly realise that playing with friends is much more fun!

Poor Orange hurts themselves, so Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow try their best to find ways to make Orange feel better.

The Very Small Creatures find some puddles of paint left on the floor and start to splat, slide and skip, making some very interesting pictures. One by one, Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow dip themselves into some orange paint… which leaves Orange very confused indeed!

The Very Small Creatures come across a soft toy bunny rabbit. As they bounce up and down on the bunny’s belly, Blue falls off. With Blue feeling left out of the excitement, Yellow finds a way for everyone to have some accident-free fun!

The Very Small Creatures find a home-made egg box monster! As Blue, Orange and Green jump inside the box, they see an opportunity to play a prank on Yellow and Pink...

A mysterious round object floats across to The Very Small Creatures. Pink and Green go in for a closer look and discover not only does it make a funny noise, it is also incredibly light and floaty, and great fun to bounce from one creature to another. It’s a balloon!

Blue finds some panpipes made from paper straws and starts to play a beautiful tune. When the other Very Small Creatures hear the melody, they join in using their own instruments... but it all gets a little noisy for Blue!

The Very Small Creatures find themselves amongst a lot of mess! Together they tidy up and sort all of the objects in to their rightful place whilst having fun... enjoying an all-important snack in the process.

Orange takes a sip from a water bottle and then suddenly makes a curious and funny sound – a hiccup! All the other Very Small Creatures want to have a go too but Green discovers hiccupping is not as easy as it looks.

After finding some crafty objects, The Very Small Creatures get dressed up in their funniest fancy dress and put on a little show.

When The Very Small Creatures find a piece of paper decorated with interesting paint shapes and patterns, they soon realize they can make their own masterpiece using their own bodies.

It is autumn and The Very Small Creatures have fun discovering the season’s most interesting offerings! When Blue discovers a sycamore seed, they quickly explore a unique and fun way to play.

The Very Small Creatures discover their reflection after Blue finds a pair of glasses with a very intriguing shiny patch. They set off to find other objects that do the same, but one object in particular makes them look very peculiar indeed!

Yellow chases the other Very Small Creatures with a tickly feather, right into a blob of glue where they all become stuck! Can Yellow come up with a clever idea to set them all free?

During their play, The Very Small Creatures come across various objects which make animal sounds. These curious friends find the sounds really funny and mimic what they hear. All except Blue, who, to the other’s delight, only meows.

Its Christmas time and The Very Small Creatures have lots of fun playing with the presents under the Christmas tree when they find a new friend – The Very Small Sprout.
