The emergence of massive entities known as "Dragons" twenty-five years ago wreak havoc on human civilization while simultaneously granting their own powers to individuals who came to be known as "Ds."

A Dragon, White Leviathan, attacks Midgar. Iris is in fear having learned that she is its target, and Mononobe Yuu comes to her side.

The D girls of Midgar battle the White Leviathan.

New students transfer to the academy. One is Tear, who has horns on her head. The other is Honoka, who wears glasses.

As Tear finally begins to warm up to her class, the Dragon cultists mobilize to take her back.

An immortal Dragon, a Blue Hecatoncheir appears.

Mitsuki and the others combine their might to push the Blue Hecatoncheir back into the sea.

The Red Basilisk has finally begun crossing the ocean towards Midgar, targeting Tear. The team lure the Basilisk to an uninhabited island

Three days until the Basilisk arrives at the island. The team reinvigorates themselves at the isoland. Meanwhile, NIFL develops a massive anti-Basilisk weapon that they would be using at the island.

Mitsuki and the others move out to fight the Basilisk. Yuu uses the ability of anti-gravity, which he'd acquired from his battle against the Leviathan.

The team's plan to defeat the Basilisk is a failure. The Basilisk erases the island as the team retreats from it. Reviewing the records, Yuu discovers a pattern in the Basilisk's attacks.

With Basilisk's approach, Tear is on the verge of becoming a Dragon. To avoid that, Yuu must decide whether to defeat the Basilisk or to kill Tear.
