Shane Harte returns to Dublin in crisis, working as a kitchen porter. Sous chef Geoff threatens exposure over a journalist's story. Barman Bobby and waitress Rebecca consider theft. Co-owner Mal is missing, causing Tanya distress.

Jojo and Bobby plan a party after work, but Jojo struggles with Pavel's reluctance to relax and her discomfort with Rebecca and Bobby's closeness. Tanya mistakenly fires Shane for theft, leading to tension at the party where Tanya and Mal argue about his commitment to 'Raw'. Shane later confides in Tanya about his departure from London. Meanwhile, Geoff is drawn to a drunk Pavel.

It's Mal's birthday. Geoff asks Tanya for a pay-rise, threatening to leave. Tanya says she'd have to let someone go to afford it, angering Mal. Despite no bookings, Mal cooks and puts Jojo in charge. After discussions, they eat, and Mal offers Geoff a partnership. Shane and Tanya kiss, but Shane thinks it's a bad idea. Geoff and Pavel grow closer. Shane receives a surprise visitor.

Mal and Geoff unite to impress rival Karl Creed at the restaurant. Jojo is thrilled her dessert is featured as the special but things aren't as they seem. Jojo is asked out by meat supplier Katherine; it's not her dream date, but she enjoys it. Love unexpectedly comes to Pavel from Geoff. Jojo confesses her love to Bobby, only to discover he's back with Rebecca.

Geoff and Pavel's relationship is strained as Geoff wants it secret, but Pavel disagrees. Geoff argues with Mal about Tanya, revealing a misheard affair. Geoff leaves during a busy night, telling Pavel it was just sex and he's leaving for London.

Jojo caters at Tanya's sister's wedding. Raw gets a positive review, prompting Tanya to consider opening more restaurants. Mal contemplates his future. Pavel and Geoff reconcile and kiss publicly, surprising many with Pavel's sexuality.
