The Yorkshire Vet

Julian is called to a pig in a difficult labour, and a cockerel with a suspicious lump. Peter helps a young calf called pudding and gives his own kitten Toddy the snip. Young vet Matt faces a pampered pooch and its emotional owner.

Julian meets Mia the meerkat, who suffered terrible injuries being rejected from her gang. Peter handles a scary-looking doberman and a newborn lamb. Matt treats moggie Jess who went missing and returned injured.

Julian races to the scene of a freak accident then helps elderly pussycat Gizmo. Peter meets a badly injured tawny owl brought in by a member of the public. He then tends to elderly horse Hazel.

Julian has to castrate Big Dillon, the largest ferret he has ever seen. Peter treats Mary, a badly injured black swan. Peter also has to save a sheep that has prolapsed after giving birth.

Julian meets Toby the tortoise who has lost his appetite after emerging from hibernation. Peter must choose to save a young ewe or her lamb and deal with a castrated horse who refuses to wake up.

Julian needs to perform an emergency caesarean for a struggling cow. Peter must rescue Calamity Bunny from under her owner's bed. Can Helen x-ray a poorly carp called Jaws?

Julian tries to help labrador Murphy, who has a tumour that another vet declined to remove. Peter rushes to an emergency - treasured racing horse Magnum has been involved in an horrendous accident and has sustained a horrific injury.

Julian rushes to a breech birth. Peter tries to remove two suspicious lumps from Scruff the dog. Smartie the pony has a potentially life-threatening blockage, and a baby alpaca needs help to walk again.

Peter aids a ewe having a difficult birth. Julian has 50 little goats to disbud, but one is hiding. Border terrier cross Poppy has bone cancer and needs to have her leg removed.

In a varied caseload, the vets treat a rapidly deteriorating cow, a cocker spaniel in labour, a hen with diarrhoea and a jammed food pipe, a lamb with an injured leg, a ferret with a suspicious lump and a calf who is foaming at the mouth.

Peter is mystified by the contents of Khufu the cat's stomach and administers anti-mite spray to an eagle. Julian tries his hand at dentistry for Audrey the alpaca.
