The Phantom Rider - 15 Chapter Serial

Outlaws terrorize ranchers near Maverick. Buck Grant, using the disguise of the Phantom Rider, battles against bandits. At Judge Holmes' cabin, outlaws accuse Buck of Cattle rustling.

Buck escapes death by rolling under a water trough a split second before the dynamite explosion. Spooky tells Buck a crooked deal is planned against Hidden Valley Ranch.

Bucks seems trapped in the burning jail. He whistles for Silver, then ties his lasso to the window bars and to the saddle. Silver wrenches the bars loose and Buck escapes.

Buck comes to the surface of the lake and swims ashore with Mary. Silver meets his master and they start for the ranch chased by outlaws. Buck sends Mary ahead and trips his pursue.

Buck and Silver land on a jutting shelf of rock below the top of the precipice. Buck gives the wallet, which he took from the safe, to Judge Holmes.

The bandits drag Buck with them. Later he gets away on Silver. The captured outlaws try to escape from the sheriff and one of them is shot. Gabe and Roscoe break loose.

Buck shoots the gun from his assailant's hand, after dropping to the floor to dodge the bullets. Next day Buck learns that Blake, railroad representative, is coming to town.

Buck is cornered by renegades in the cave. Silver lashes out with his heels and Buck rides away, chased by outlaws. Buck reaches the stage and warns the driver, who was shot.

Buck leaps to his saddle and dashes away. Blake is badly injured, and Mary's papers are gone. The Phantom later sends her a note saying they are safe. Delaney states Buck and the P

Cowboys rescue Mary and Buck. Rustlers steal all Mary's cattle, her only source of money, when she has to meet a note at the bank. Delaney offers her a $10,000 loan.

There is a fight between the whites and the Indians over their shooting ability. Buck bursts from the closet, carrying Mary, unhurt and rushing her to their horses.

Spooky rescues Buck. He has come up with a party that includes Mary, Helen and Delaney. Mary assures Hudson that buck is trustworthy.

Buck grabs Mary and leaps to safety behind an elbow in the mine tunnel, avoiding the explosion. Hudson returns from pursuing the renegade and declares the accident has uncovered something.

Buck rolls down an embankment and out of the path of the galloping horses. Buck rides off and the bandit head for Hudson's ranch after the gold. They are still searching for it...

Buck sees Roscoe in the nick of time, turns and shoot the gun from the renegades' hand. Roscoe is jailed. Cowboys drive off his henchmen. Later Mary is thrown from her horse.
