Slatersville: America's First Mill Village

Near the turn of the 20th Century, Henry Kendall, a young mill owner from Walpole, MA, purchases Slatersville to expand his operations, but must raise its morale and confront Depression-era hardships in order to succeed.

Skating, hockey and World War II. Like most villages across the Blackstone Valley, Slatersville shifts 100% of its manufacturing to meet U.S. Military needs, while its young men fighting abroad experience loss and long to return home.
