Mike Varga is an American double agent in Budapest who infiltrates the criminal empire of Darius Paskevic, a kingpin in the Russian mafia. Complicating Varga's espionage is his romantic relationship with the criminal mastermind's daughter, Laura. When Paskevic reveals the agent's true identity, Varga is on the run for his life, with both the FBI and the mafia in his pursuit.
