The White Princess

England is in a fractious state as Henry Tudor is set to ascend the throne. Lizzie must fulfill her promise to marry King Henry VII in order to bring peace to the warring nation.

King Henry VII sets out on a Royal Progress to establish himself as the new sovereign, but finds a dangerous, deeply divided kingdom. With child, Lizzie's loyalties become more complicated.

Lizzie endures labor while King Henry's envoys embark on a mission to Burgundy, a York stronghold. Negotiations are threatened, and Lizzie finds she and her husband share some common ideas.

The York princesses are married off to strengthen the Tudor cause, but challenges are on the horizon. With King Henry on the battlefield, Lizzie finds that the threats may be closer to home.

Lizzie must deal with her mother's defense of the York cause. A purported prince in Burgundy threatens to destabilize King Henry's rule. King Henry's mother has been harboring a dark secret.

King Henry VII and Lizzie travel to Spain to secure their son's betrothal, but news of their country's instability has preceded them. Unrest in Burgundy spills over into an English battle.

A pretender to the throne is held captive at court, creating a new rift in Lizzie and King Henry's marriage. Lizzie is forced into a risky move to try to eliminate the threat to her family.

A final confrontation with the pretender exposes King Henry's weaknesses, while Lizzie confronts new demons and old curses.
