Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown

Tony joins the throngs of locals as he motorbikes through Vietnam's capital and indulges in its singular cuisine with president Barack Obama, who, over a dish of Bun Cha, shares personal stories and reflects on his own international travels.

Anthony Bourdain absorbs the tastes, sights and sounds of Music City, from chef Josh Habiger's Catbird Seat and Bolton's Spicy Chicken and Fish, to a night of cooking, drinking and rocking with singer Alison Mosshart and her bandmates.

Tony brings his dear friend, muse and Michelin star chef Eric Ripert along for the ride. It is Eric's first time visiting China so everything is new to him, including the level of spice they will encounter on their journey.

Visiting London, post-Brexit vote, Tony finds comfort in classic British cuisine, including roast bone marrow at chef Fergus Henderson's restaurant and Scotch eggs with Nigella Lawson. He also meets revered artist Ralph Steadman at his studio.

Tony explores Houston's diverse cultures as he takes in a Bollywood-style dance in a grocery store, a suburban quinceañera and the city's slab car parade. Along the way, he makes time for Viet-Bayou crawfish, East Texas barbecue and Congolese-Cajun stew.

Guided by world-renowned chef Masa Takayama, Tony's return trip to Japan includes a tour of outdoor markets, a conversation with an ex-geisha at her teahouse and a special omakase experience at Tokyo's acclaimed Sushi Ko, where Masa was an apprentice.

Anthony Bourdain explores the scenic Brazilian region of Minas Gerais, known for its baroque architecture, and samples Mineiran cuisine during a traditional country meal. He's joined by chef Leo Paixao, a champion of his home state's ingredients.
