Reggie Perrin

Reggie's back and ready to start the next chapter of his life. After a little role reversal, Nicola gets fired from her teaching post and Reggie tries to find a local job. Meanwhile, their parents have some disturbing news.

Believing self-sufficiency is the answer to the Perrin's problems, Reggie takes to making bread and trying to sell it at the farmers' market. But Nicola wants the old Reggie back and persuades him to return to Groomtech.

Reggie begins to get used to the perks of his new position and sets about revamping Groomtech Industries. But the more satisfied he becomes at work, the unhappier Nicola feels at home.

The Groomtech staff fear that Reggie is running the company into the ground. But when the surprisingly good sales figures come in, everyone must reconsider -including the chairman of the board.

Reggie is so engrossed in his work that he fails to see what is happening at home. He also discovers the downside of his success at Groomtech and what the chairman plans for the newly attractive corporation.

Reggie has to meet with a potential buyer for Groomtech Industries-and knows that if he blows the deal, everyone will be out of work. Matters reach the breaking point when he realizes who the new boss will be.
