Fishing with Roland Martin

Roland takes you to Okeechobee in a big boat for the opening, then to a canal bank in the Everglades, and finally in a canoe. In the process, taking a bunch of Bass on a popper, and some of them are big!

Roland shows the ABC's of Carolina fishing with a Senko, Creature bait and Lizzard. He is fishing in a local rock pit that contains good ledges and structure that is perfect for this type of fishing. He catches bass up to 7 lbs.

Roland takes you first to Lake Okeechobee and catches big bass on a slow retrieve with a Devils Horse. Then he takes you in a John Boat in a canal and finally in a canoe for more big bass on topwater with a Senko back up for those missed fish.

Roland and Captain Jimmy Wheeler crash through the Mangroves to get way up the small tide creeks for 3-20 lb tarpon on topwater, swimbaits and flukes. Super action with several double hook ups.

In Florida, Roland and Joe pitch jigs into heavy reeds on main lake points. And in Oklahoma, Roland jigs the biggest cedars and oaks in 10-15 feet.
