Cut from his team and running out of money, football pro Terry Brogan reluctantly agrees to track down a crooked nightclub owner's girlfriend. After finding her in Mexico the two fall in love and hatch a plot escape together, but they soon find it impossible to outrun the past and the people who are looking for them.
