Billa (Prabhas) is an international gangster who is pursued by ACP Krishnamurthy. Billa gets shot in an encounter, but Krishnamurthy keeps it a secret. He brings in Billa's look-alike, Ranga, a petty thief, in his place. The rest of the story is about how Ranga manages to complete the tasks for Krishnamurthy and wins his love.
