Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars

Drew and Paul seek out Italian icon, the Alfa Romeo Spider. The car's red paintwork is in perfect condition, but Drew wants to paint it black. Paul's determined to put his foot down and has a more cost-effective plan for this glamorous little sports car.

Drew and Paul head to Berkshire, England, on the trail of a Volvo 850R station wagon, a car that became an instant classic when it made an unlikely appearance in the British Touring Car Championship in 1994. The car they've found is a Japanese import.

The guys check out a Volvo Amazon. Paul has built a career buying and selling Scandinavian motors and loves the car. The bodywork is tatty in places, but Paul thinks they can get away with a few small repairs. Drew, though, has a very different idea.

On a trip to Barcelona, Drew goes solo and does a deal for one of his all-time favorite cars, an early two-door Range Rover. Paul worries Drew's heart may have ruled his head and it soon becomes clear they have very different views on how to restore it.

The boys head to London to check out a Fiat 500. Forty years of British weather have taken a toll and Paul is worried about the scale of the job. But Drew's looking beyond the rust and wants to give the car a new look inspired by the world of fashion.
