In 1980s Chennai, oil smuggler Manohar raises Vaasu, the orphaned son of his slain friend. Years later, as corrupt forces led by Mayavel, Balamurugan, and Padhani battle for control of the black-market oil empire, Vaasu rises from the shadows to avenge his father figure and destroy the syndicate that tore his world apart.
