When his time-travel phone box TARDIS is accidentally activated, eccentric inventor Dr. Who (genre legend Peter Cushing) - along with granddaughters Susan (Roberta Tovey), Barbara (Jennie Linden) and her bumbling boyfriend Ian (Roy Castle) - are transported to the planet Skaro where they're caught in the middle of a war between the benevolent Thals and evil Daleks.
