Beneath the icy surface, survivors of Colony 7 struggle as food supplies dwindle and temperatures drop. Plagued by illness and conflict, the colonists lose contact with Colony 5 - the only other known settlement. Sam, a strong-willed mechanic with a tragic past, joins Briggs on a dangerous expedition to find out what happened. Now they must win a savage battle to preserve the last of humanity.
