The Killer Years

An inspiring documentary following 19-year-old Nic Hamilton, brother of Formula One World Champion Lewis, as he strives to fulfil his own lifelong dream of becoming a racing driver. The twist in the tale is that Nic has cerebral palsy. With unprecedented access to the Hamilton family, the film shows the emotional highs and breathtaking lows as Nic tries to get noticed for his talent, not his name.

Every year thousands descend upon a dried up salt lake bed in Bonneville, Utah. Men from all over the world come to this truly unique setting with their custom vehicles - they all have just one plan, to drive them as fast as they can and hopefully join an elite group: the fastest men on earth. The first part looks at the men behind the machines and this obsession.

Part two sees the men arriving with their machines at this breath taking landscape ready to find out if they can become members of an elite group: the fastest men on earth. It is a place where either parts or records are broken. Do any of our teams have what it takes to get a Bonneville record?
