A man has been liquidated – and Ingrid, IP, Fischer, la Cour, and Gaby set off early one Saturday morning. The deceased, an old acquaintance of the police, had outstanding business with local bikers.

Fischer and la Cour find Grue, the biker president, who is carrying a sawn-off shotgun around that matches the murder weapon. But the revelation that follows is not what they expected.

When an elderly lady is murdered a series of very worrying details emerge about her younger female lodger. IP is worried about Kirsten, and Ingrid’s husband Søren suddenly appears just as she is on her way to supper with Boysen.

A couple’s wedding day is ruined by a homicide. The killing seems impossible, and the forensics experts are really hard put when Unit One arrives. Soon many of the villagers are in the spotlight, from the pastor to the teacher.

Ulla has celebrated her 30th birthday with a big party for relatives and friends. On her way home from the party she disappears without trace. Her husband calls the police, and Unit One is summoned.

Fischer and la Cour have taken a holiday cottage on the North Sea with Fischer’s family. Their idyll is shattered when the local force receives an anonymous tip-off that a homicide has been committed in the neighbourhood.

A whole region is in fear because a man with his face covered has been assaulting elderly women who live on their own. The assaults are becoming more and more violent, and everyone is afraid that the next one will be fatal.

The disguised attacker strikes again. But how come he is constantly one step ahead of the police? Ulf insist on a result, and is confronted by IP, while Fischer tries to provoke la Cour into resuming his relationship with Helene.
