After growing a bit closer to Patrick during the field lesson, Yumiella pairs up with him for a magic lesson, and they talk even more. When the next field lesson rolls around, Yumiella decides the students aren't taking it seriously enough...

The Royal Academy is holding a martial arts competition, pitting its students against one another in bouts of magic and might. While she was initially uninterested, Yumiella immediately joins the fray after discovering what the prizes are.

A classmate asks Yumiella for help slaying a dragon in her family's territory. Yumiella recognizes the task as an event from the game that rewards the player with a means of transport and is eager to take up the challenge.

The Hidden Boss Is Solicited by an Enemy Nation

Alicia a disparu, plongeant toute l’Académie, et plus particulièrement ses prétendants, dans une profonde panique. Eumiella, qui a une intuition suite à une discussion passée, se lance à sa recherche sur le dos de son dragon. Elle ne tardera pas à retrouver la jeune roturière, marchant machinalement vers un donjon des ténèbres.

Alors que les étudiants de l’Académie continuent leur entraînement afin de se préparer au retour imminent du roi-démon, Eumiella est visée par de mystérieux assassins. La jeune fille devra remonter la piste de ces derniers pour trouver qui les envoie, furieuse que ces meurtriers s’en prennent à elle lorsque Patrick est à ses côtés.

Le roi-démon est désormais ressuscité, et son armée marche vers Varschine. Une troupe composée de nobles et de soldats royaux, accompagnée de quelques membres de l’Académie, a été missionnée pour aller intercepter ces émissaires du Mal.
