Rent a Girlfriend

A jaded college student rents a girlfriend from an online service. Despite liking her, he couldn't get over the fact it was not genuine and angrily gave her a low score and met her in public to vent his anger.

At college, Kazuya runs into his rented girlfriend, who is a student. They both agree to pretend they have never met, until his grandma comes to visit and demands to meet his girlfriend.

At a party, drunk Kazuya feels torn between his ex Asami and rental girlfriend Chizuru. Later, he unexpectedly meets Chizuru on the beach, where he's torn between his feelings for Asami and his guilt toward Chizuru. In a panic, he hides Chizuru in a bathroom, but Asami finds them.

During a trip, Kazuya is kissed by his ex Asami, who buries her face in his chest, saying, "I can't help it." Shocked, Kazuya's feelings for her are rekindled.

Kazuya saves Chizuru from a cruise ship fall and, while recovering, struggles with his feelings. As he faces the end of their contract, his true emotions surface. Meeting Ruka, his friend's girlfriend, reminds him of Chizuru. Meanwhile, Chizuru faces danger alone after leaving the dinner party.

Ruka, suspecting Chizuru is a rental girlfriend, asks her to kiss Kazuya. Later, Kazuya admits the truth to Ruka while being ambushed. Despite his pleas for secrecy, Ruka leaves him with a shocking remark.

Kazuya, scared by Ruka's confession, rejects her but is pressured into a temporary relationship with her to keep Chizuru's secret. To avoid seeming like a couple with Ruka, Kazuya skips the fireworks festival but spots Chizuru with a handsome guy and decides to follow them, driven by curiosity.

"I can't stand it anymore!" Kazuya, overwhelmed by Ruka's advances, almost gives in but manages to hold back. Meanwhile, Chizuru privately invites Kazuya to the balcony at night and surprises him by suggesting he rent another woman. At the date, Kazuya meets a stunning girl with an unsuitable personality for a rental girlfriend.

Chizuru confesses she's quitting her rental job, prompting Kazuya to seriously consider Ruka. As he plans to tell Ruka she's his real girlfriend, he spots Chizuru and Nanami Asami in a karaoke box and decides to find them, putting his confession on hold.

Asami asks Kazuya to pose as her boyfriend for a family dinner, forcing him to cancel with Chizuru. At the dinner, Chizuru faces danger.
