Carnival hawkers Popeye and his perennial rival Bluto are showmen who battle for customers and Olive Oyl at a carnival.

Popeye and Bluto compete to spend a day at the beach with the object of their affections, Olive Oyl.

Popeye has a hectic time when his rambunctious nephews decide to give their uncle a birthday gift.

Spinach, yuck! But not to Popeye. Whether romancing his sweetheart, rescuing an infant or wrestling his nemesis, Popeye summons his strength to save the day. With one gulp, Popeye transforms his body into a human dynamo!

It's Christmas Eve and Popeye and Olive are baby-sitting with his three nephews. They promise to wake the children when Santa arrives. Bluto dons a Santa suit. He succeeds in captivating Olive but Popeye is suspicious and the battle starts.

Olive shocks Popeye by announcing she has become a Policewoman and is off to patrol her beat. He follows fearfully to save his lady love from harm. In a series of comical mishaps, it is Popeye who winds up being protected by his lady of the law.

Cowboys Popeye and Bluto both apply for a job at Olive's ranch. Both men compete in various types of bronco busting and trick riding. When Popeye gets the job, a jealous Bluto causes a cattle stampede.

Olive and Popeye are driving through a small mountain town when a buxom local belle spies our hero. She decides he's the man for her and all seems lost for the hapless gob.

Popeye and Bluto are tied in their race for the Presidency and learn that Olive Oyl holds the deciding vote. To win her over, they both offer to help with her farm chores with some hysterical results.

Popeye and Bluto are training for their championship bout. Bluto sabotages Popeye's equipment and pours concrete in Popeye's path on his way to the ring. Unable to move his legs, all seems lost for our hero until he pulls out his spinach.

Popeye goes to court to answer Bluto's charge of assault and battery. Judge Wimpy, between bites of his hamburger, listens as each recount various stories of their battles and both claim innocence.

Popeye builds himself a beautiful wooden house that is immediately attacked by an army of termites. While singing a series of comical marching songs, they manage to eat the entire abode.
