Departing a Costa Rican eco-paradise on their return flight to the U.S. female etymologist Dr. Carrie Ross (Jessalyn Gilsig) and her sixteen year old daughter are going to wish they had missed their plane. One of the passengers, an obnoxious tourist, has unwittingly become the carrier for a swarm of deadly poisonous ants, which emerge from the doomed host mid-way through the trip.
