The Yorkshire Vet Countryside Specials

Called out to remote farms to tend animals in labour and the sick and injured, vets Julian Norton and Peter Wright must battle the weather to treat and save patients including owls and cattle.

Julian Norton and Peter Wright are invited to switch on the Christmas lights at Skeldale and also asked to find a donkey that can be used for the nativity scene.

Peter and Julian catch up with the Greens, a beloved farming family who faced tough times after selling their dairy herd. Now, they're worried about Britney the greyhound. Julian also reunites with Dougie, the sharp-tongued parrot with a Yorkshire accent and a love for Yorkshire puddings. Dougie gives Julian a feisty welcome, proving he's still fighting fit-and full of attitude.

Peter and Julian catch up with old friends. Peter returns to Greensit Brothers farm for an emergency-Caysue, a 15-year-old retired broodmare, is in agony and severely lame. With the Yorkshire saying "no foot, no horse" in mind, Peter must act fast to save her. Julian revisits Cinderella the alpaca and her breech-born baby, Florence, now grown and showing potential as an alpaca supermodel.
