Son of a criminal, little Martin ends up in an orphanage. Police inspector Popov gives a chance to the Lyulin boy. Martin graduates a police school in France. He comes back to Bulgaria and becomes an undercover cop.

Martin infiltrates the criminal organization headed by Petar Tudjarov - Jaro. His task is to win the mobsters' confidence. Martin uses his connections and manages to get back to the mob a car full of drugs. Meanwhile the undercover cop is surprised to realize that the boss's girlfriend Sunny is an old acquaintance...

After stealing the car Martin has his description handed to the Organized Crime Unit. Popov manages to save him. Martin receives crucial info regarding an upcoming drug deal and he and Popov start gathering proof against Jaro.

Jaro's people are suspecting that there is a traitor among them. A bad sequence of events puts the loyalty of Zdravko 'the Hair' under question. In an attempt to save his friend, Martin starts his own investigation

Martin warns Popov that the mobsters are setting a trap for the cops. His situation becomes even more complicated when Jaro orders him to eliminate a rogue dealer

Jaro includes Martin in the team for a safety deposit robbery.The target is the box of a Lebanese businessman which shoes to contain nothing of value. Popov investigates a company connected to Jaro's business but his superiors order him to leave it.

Jaro obtains a damaging video featuring the Parliament member Anna Nedelcheva. The price of the sex tape is 250 00 Lev and Martin has to get the money. The delicate case is given to Popov. He taps Nedelcheva's phone but fails to recognize Martin's voice. So Popov sets a trap for his own agent.

In order to control the city's drug market Jaro has to get rid of the drug boss Ventsy 'the Vein'. He arranges a meеting with him using a free fight match as a pretext. Everything goes according to plan until Jaro's fighter refuses to get in the ring. Martin has to come up instead...

Martin records a conversation between Jaro and other drug bosses but the recording is deleted by a mole in the Organized Crime Unit. Popov gives a new assignment to his undercover agent. Martin decides to retire after completing it.

The mole in the Organized Crime Unit is captured and Martin decides to continue his work under cover as long as he and Sunny are protected. Popov heads a showcase police operation after which he is promoted and transferred to another unit.

Martin follows Ivo to find out if Sunny is alive. The police raids one of Jaro's amphetamine cooking facilities. The chemist Rossen 'the Hook' is arrested. Popov has to give all the secret info on the Jaro's case to his successor Vasil.

The diplomat who has been smuggling Jaro's dirty money abroad is revealed. The mobster is arrested but later released due to insufficient evidence. Jaro swears to avenge Popov.
