Jor-El (guest star JULIAN SANDS) mysteriously arrives in Smallville, searching for his son. When Clark realizes Jor-El is alive and on Earth, he races to find him before Zod does.

DC Comics Wonder Twins (guest stars DAVID GALLAGHER and ALLISON SCAGLIOTTI) show up in Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime, but end up botching several rescues.

Tess kidnaps Lois to discover her memory of the future, depicting a Metropolis under Zod’s rule with Clark powerless under the red sun. Clark makes a vital decision about Zod.

Oliver’s past comes back to haunt him in the form of The Dark Archer (STEVE BACIC), Oliver’s former teacher, who seeks revenge on his student by taking aim at Lois and Chloe.

DC Comics' characters Hawkman, Star Girl & Dr. Fate from the Justice Society of America meet up with Clark and his team in a special two-hour event, featuring guest star PAM GRIER.

Clark meets Zatanna (guest star SERINDA SWAN) at a comic book convention, and helps her in the search for a charmed comic book that bestows super powers upon the reader.

Resurrected from the dead by the Kandorians, a doctor kidnaps some of Zod’s people, along with Lois and an undercover Zod to prove his claims of an alien invasion. And Zod is shot!

DC Comics character the Silver Banshee interrupts a romantic getaway for Lois and Clark who sets her sights on Clark and Oliver. Meanwhile, Tess faces off with Zod!

While investigating an explosion at one of Tess’s secret labs, Clark is exposed to red kryptonite and he takes Zod back to the Fortress. Now, only an upgraded Metallo can stop him!

DC Comics character Maxwell Lord (GIL BELLOWS) visits Metropolis intent on learning The Blur’s identity so that he can eliminate him. Meanwhile, Chloe discovers Zod’s secret.

While Chloe and Tess are trapped inside Watchtower, Oliver confronts Zod and winds up clinging to life – and Clark realizes that Zod has given his soldiers super powers.

Much to Clark’s surprise, Martha Kent (guest star ANNETTE O’TOOLE) returns to Smallville with her new boyfriend, Perry White (guest star MICHAEL MCKEAN) in tow.
