Thomas is sent to collect some children from the airport for the Sodor Summer Picnic. At the airport, Thomas meets Jeremy, a jet plane.

Sir Handle, one of the smoothest engines on the narrow gauge railway, is asked to take a load of apples. But he must be gentle so they don't bruise.

James is collecting flour to make party cakes. Thomas isn't happy and bumps James' flour truck causing the door to open and the flour to pour out.

A fun fair comes to the island. All the engines get to pull a part of it, except for Percy who is asked to pull coal and left feeling disappointed.

Duncan is taking the clock tower bell to be polished. He loves the sound the bell makes so much that he doesn't hear anyone telling him to slow down.

Toby plans to spend his afternoon off at the farm. But when he is given three unexpected specials, he worries that he won't have time after all.

Thomas is sent to the Wharf to collect a Christmas tree from Sir Handle but he's never seen one before and doesn't know what it looks like.

Gordon needs to pull the express once more to set a record and is determined not to let anything stand in his way...

Gordon has set a record for pulling the express and he receiving a set of special cars. Emily is to collect and deliver them to the ceremony.

Thomas is racing Spencer, causing a gust of wind that blows The Fat Controller's top hat right off. Thomas chases the hat all over the island.

Fearless Freddie is an old engine who has returned to the narrow gauge railway after many years. He brags about being the fastest engine in the hills.

Thomas is giving train rides at a children's fancy dress party. He daydreams about what costume to wear and crashes into Toby.

Henry is disappointed not to be chosen to pull some heavy loads for Farmer McColl. Gordon gets the job and boasts that he is the strongest engine.

Thomas is taking holidaymakers on a sightseeing trip. Gordon sniffs that he would be much faster, so Thomas sets out to prove that he's wrong.

A shooting star is due to light up the night sky on the Island of Sodor. All the engines are making wishes.

Rusty has two jobs. One is to take some workers to put up direction signs and the other is to take The Fat Controller to the mountains for a walk.

At the docks Thomas and Percy see a group of children playing with a large snowman balloon. A gust of wind attaches the balloon to Thomas' buffers.

The troublesome trucks make him Skarloey jump and James teases him for being a 'scaredy engine'.

It's the Sodor School football match and James is pulling the team carriages, decorated in their colours. Thomas is jealous and thinks it isn't fair.

Skarloey has lots of jobs and is very, very busy. Rheneas decides to help his friend and take Skarloey's coal trucks for him as a surprise.

Thomas is delivering birthday mail to High Farm. On the way he meets Rosie who wants to be just like Thomas and tries to follow him.

James is bringing coal to Duncan. Duncan challenges James to a race - he'll deliver the coal faster than James can bring more to him.

Salty tells Thomas about the lost pirate treasure of Sodor, giving him clues to its whereabouts. Thomas sets about trying to follow the clues.

The Fat Controller has lost his voice so Percy is given the job of handing out his instructions for the day. Percy has lots of things to remember.

The Fat Controller needs an engine for a railway poster. Edward is chosen but James is sure that it should be him and decides to prove why.
